Beijing Kung Fu Show: A Feast For the Eyes
At Beijing’s Red theatre “The Legend of Kung Fu” or “Chuan Yi: The Legend of Kung Fu” is a performance that will absolutely have everyone, other than lovers of Kung Fu and Martial Arts, smiling a long time after it has climaxed.
The only reason I gave it four stars is that I was sitting on the second level as I could only afford the cheap tickets, which cost about USD23. The tickets with best field of view cost about USD102 and you could watch the performance clearly. Obviously, this would have been a better experience but even on the second floor, the atmosphere was great and I was truly entertained for the entire hour the show lasted.
I am not a lover of Martial Arts but with only about 10 performers, the show left me shocked and awestruck with its incredible storyline about Chuan Yi a young boy who longs to study the ancient art of Kungfu and the incredible skill of the martial art performers.
“The Legend of Kung Fu” is truly a great experience.
