1 Arrive in Lhasa (L) |
Be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel by your English speaking guide. We can see the Giant Stone Buddha on the way back to city center. |
| Day 2 Lhasa (B,L) |
Today we will visit two famous monasteries in the city, the Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The Potala Place is the landmark of Lhasa and is famous for its grand buildings, complicated constructions, devotional atmosphere and splendid artworks. Then you can enjoy the time in the Barhor Street. |
| The Potala Palace: |
Blend with Tibetan and Han architecture, it used to be Tibetan imperial palace. Built at an altitude of 3,700 m, it is the highest palace in the world. |
| The Barkhor Street: |
Barkhor Street is a place full of religious atmosphere and a world of exotic articles. Believe your eyes, and you will get a lot of surprise there. |
| The Jokhang Temple: |
Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. |

3 Lhasa (B,L) |
Activities today will include tour to Drepung Monastery, Sere Monastery and Norbulingka. The Norbulingka is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet and it used to be the summer palace for Dalai Lama. |

Drepung is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries, and indeed at its peak was the largest monastery of any religion in the world. |
| Norbulingka: |
Norbulingka both reflects the ethnical, religious features of the Tibetan people and embodies the architecture style of inland China. |
| The Sera Monastery: |
As one of most important Monastery in Tibet, it often holds debate about Buddhism, which attracts many monks, celebrities all over the world. |

4 Lhasa (B,L) |
Today we will make a visit to the Yambajan and the Lake Namtso. Namtso Lake is the second salt lake in china and the highest lake in the world. It like a glittering bijoux shining on the Qinghai-Tibet Platean |

Yambajan, world-famous for its spectacular phenomenon of hot springs boiling on the cold plateau, features all kinds of hot springs. |
| Lake Namtso: |
Namtso is renowned as one of the most beautiful lake which has been the destination of Tibetan pilgrims for centuries. |

5 Depart Lhasa (B) |
After the breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the next destination. |
