6 Days Tiger Leaping Gorge Hiking Tour

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our guide at the Airport and then transfer to the hotel in Lijiang Old Town. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to explore Lijiang Old Town. If you have enough free time, recommend you to visit the Mu Mansion which is famed as Forbidden City of Naxi people. Then ascent Wangu Tower on Small Lion Hill enjoy vistas of breathtaking scenery over the rooftops of Lijiang and the great Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. Tonight you will stay at the featured hotel in Lijiang.

At 8:00 departure from Lijiang, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Then catch a cable car to the summit of the Yak Meadow, one of 13 peaks of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. 1 hour walk around the summit (about 3km), half hour cable car down the mountain. Then head for Daju town. After lunch at local the guest house, walk down the mountain to the river valley and then cross the Yangtze river by boat which was run by local naxi people. Enjoy the low ranch view of the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Then take half hour to climb up the mountain and trek another 2-3 hours to the hotel you will stay for tonight - Woody Guest House. In the morning, continue our trekking to reach Tina's Inn. Walk for 3 hours along the river valley to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge Rock, then climb up the mountain by a path of "ladder" to the hotel you will stay for tonight - Tina's Inn. In the morning start your trekking from Tina's Inn. Walk on the "high way" trail on mountains for 3-6 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy the view of the Jade Dragon from different level, there are thousands of photo opportunities for the Snow Mountain. In the afternoon you will reach the hotel you are going to stay tonight - Halfway Guest House. The rest of the day is free at leisure, you may just seating at the yard of the guesthouse with a cup of tea or coffee or bear, enjoy the view and relaxed yourself from daily fairs. You can also walking in along the village or the field and the forest. For today, total walking distance is about 30km.

In the morning, continue trekking for 5 hours. On the way you will pass the most difficult part of 28 turns. Then have lunch at Naxi Guest House, the best restaurant you can find in the gorge. In the following 1 hour, it is leisure time for you. Afterwards go to Qiaotou town. Your coach will pick you up here and take you back to Lijiang. Upon arriva, check in your hotel in Lijiang.
