- Overall the location is good. Near the MRT station. There are a lot of restaurant outlet nearby the hotel. The price of food is reasonable.but rooms need upgrade

- Hotel is about 130 yuan by taxi from the airport. It is located right above line 2 of the metro which can connect you to other metros to get to practically anywhere in Guangzhou. The best thing about its location is its proximity to wholesale shopping places around Yide Road. Onelink Plaza with 8 floors of toys, accessories, furnishings at competitive wholesale and retail prices. It is air conditioned, less crowded and generally a less stressful place to browse and buy. Further down is the dry foods depot-- scallops, shark fins, dried fruits and the like. Wholesale shoe places choke the streets near the hotel and beyond Onelink. Around Guangzhou rail station is the place to shop for apparel and watches and these are just 3 or 4 metro stops down. Be aware though that metro stations are huge and significant walking is involved even when a place is near a metro station. Luckily cabs are cheap and there are cyclos for the short distance rides.

- As I was travelling with 2 small children,we took the business room with river view and stayed for 6N.
We had a room on L14 as we had requested for non smoking floor/room. The room was reasonably nice though the river view was partially blocked by the hotel structure.
Nothing to complain really except maybe the reception of tghe TV could be better and the stafff could be more knowledgable in recommending food and sights around the hotel.
