- The hotel is virtually brand new, and the rooms are a nice size, completely modern with electric curtains, shades, and 42" flat screen TV which is on a hinge so you can see it in bed or even in the shower which is in a glass enclosure. The shower head is fantastic, a rain fall type with good pressure.
The staff is great, the bars and restaurants are nice. The exercise facilities and pool are beautiful and have a great view out from the 24th floor.
But it is also quite isolated. You can't walk to anything. Not much to have fun with near the hotel.

- I have NEVER seen anything like the rooms here before. Since everyone's comments describe the room the same way I won't add much. I just said, Wooww!! And the Pool is AMAZING! Largest jacuzzi I have ever seen, There are two parts. One part has concrete beds you lie on with jets massaging your back.
And a reviewer said there was nothing close by even by taxi? What does this guy consider close? I chose this hotel because I need to go to the U.S. Consulate to add pages to my passport. It was a 15 minute taxi ride ($2.25). A taxi to a major shopping street with plenty of malls and restaurants was 10 minutes ($1.12) . It does seem that not all the taxi's in this district all know how to get, just show then the hotel card. And speaking of taxi's, even in a still remote location, there always taxis lined up outside the hotel. Not even more central located hotels can always claim this.

- This has been my best hotel experience ever. The rooms, the food, the service, the spa, everything. We did not go back because we found a cheaper hotel, but the Grand Hyatt was worth every penny spent. The hotel had premium parking at the Guangzhou fair so it was just a short walk to the quarter hourly air conditioned buses. I will definitely love to book early and return to this hotel again. Lovely rooms....

- The place is sparkling new and the rooms are large and beautiful. The room worths the money but expensive still.
"G" the western style restaurant is spectacular but expensive. Great food. I ate one lunch and one dinner there. The bar is comfortable with a nice liquor selection. But beware. Check the price before you order.
