You visits today start after lunch. Xi'an is a city with a tolerant mind in religious culture - here you will find the harmonious getting-along of Buddhist culture and Muslim culture. Muslim Quater, the main gathering place of the local Muslim community, offers a wide range of exotic shops and savory restaurants. Go shopping or taste the local featured foods as you have at least 1 hour free time here!

The most sacred part in this community is without doubt the Great Mosque, featuring a great mixed architecture of Chinese and Arabic styles. You may happen to meet with some Muslim followers coming for worship.

Day 2 Xi'an: Terracotta Warriors - Shaanxi History Museum - Cycling on Ancient City Wall (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Enjoy your breakfast, and hop on the car heading for the core of Xi'an tour - Terracotta Warriors! Thousands of life-like terracotta soldiers stand in lines, just like waiting for your inspection. It would be much more astonishing than you jsut watch them on TV or pictures. Grand and solemn, but can you hear their voices behind the silence, telling you their sacred mission of guarding the Emperor Qin Shihuang through over 2,200 years? The 2-hour visit is only too short for you to read them. Lunch is at the Friendship Restaurant inside the Scenic Area.

In the afternoon you will indulge into the profound history of China and Xi'an at the Shaanxi History Museum. Over 300,000 items, from the Bronze Age to the modern time, it's really a treasure stove here.

Then spend about 1.5 hours for cycling on the Ancient City Wall (Circumvallation), the best preserved of this kind in China. The rampart is 12m high, with the upper part of 15m width. Riding freely along the City Wall and feeling the wind passing by is surely a wonderful choice to experience Xi'an.

Xi’an

Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shaped Chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. Muslim Quarter gathers lots of delicious local food like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) Here we highly recommend Chinese Dumpling Dinner, which also named Jiaozi, typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. As a must-try for visitors, it serves with Tang dynasty show. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) Rou Jia Mo, also called Chinese Hamburger, is very similar to the Western hamburger essentially, but with different cooking method.

Hi Nancy,

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable tour. We visited all the places we had planned for plus insights to local cultures.

Xi'an tour was our first private tour. With this experience, we would be able to design better private tour in the future. Both the driver and tour guide are good. Hotel accommodation and services are excellent. Food or restaurant choices can be improved.

We also appreciate your professional support and services in providing the necessary information and communication for local arrangements. HRC and you will surely cross our minds when we plan for our next tour in China.

With kind regards

Dear Sara,

Our trip to Xi'an was very good. Hebe was a first class, very knowledgeable tour guide & the driver was also excellent and we would thank them for their work during our visit.

The Hotel was also very good and we enjoyed the stay at the Shangri-La. Accommodations & food was of high quality, but higher cost and more expensive than we anticipated. Xi'an in general we found is a high cost place to visit. Xi'an is a much more commercialized city that we anticipated, but the visit to the Terracotta Warriors location was a fantastic experience for us and the manor of the facilities at the location was very well done indeed. China should be very proud on this 8th Wonder of the World.

Overall we would recommend the trip to Xi'an and China Tours to any of our friends and family.

Only downside to the Xi'an trip was the traffic in the city which is very congested and a bit crazy. Kind regards,
