Tour Description

Get inspired by a worthy hike over the world-famous Huangshan Mountain, making a vivid picture of this breathtaking mountain blessed with a series of natural wonders, like, grotesque pines & rocks, sea of clouds, sunrise & sunset etc. It is a world of discovery, exploration and enjoyment, with lots of surprises when you hike through the picturesque mountain step by step, from the front range to the back range, from the foot to the top.

Climb atop Celestial Capital Peak, the steepest peak of Mt. Huangshan.

Day 1 Arrival in Huangshan City

Upon arrival, you are picked up at airport and escorted to the hotel for check-in about 15-minute drive. Enjoy your free leisure time after dinner: relax to get over your jetlag or take a stroll nearby to get a first expression of Huangshan City.

Day 2 Mt. Huangshan ( Breakfast )

Today's Activities

Morning drive to Huangshan scenic area to start your exceptional conquering of this fantastic mountain. Set foot on Mercy Light Pavilion to hike through the front range of the mountain. En route, crest Tiandu Peak (Celestial Capital Peak), the most precipitous one in Mt. Huangshan, to experience the excitement of climbing and to appreciate the spectacular natural landscape on the summit.

Day 3 Mt. Huangshan ( Breakfast )

Today's Activities

The full day is highlighted by a trek over West Sea Grand Canyon. The amazing sceneries along the way will surely feast your eyes and satisfy your pursuit of the unknown. After breakfast, start from Tianhai scenic area, past Baiyun Scenic Area, to the hiking paradise - West Sea Grand Canyon, dotted by a series of incredible sights, such as Jade Platform, Fairy-walking Bridge, etc. Then reach Dispelling Cloud Pavilion to appreciate the breathtaking sunset view.

Travel Tips

Sunrise and sunset depend on the weather condition. In rainy, cloudy or foggy days you could not witness the sunrise or sunset scenery.

Day 4 Mt. Huangshan ( Breakfast )

Today's Activities

Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on early morning. Hike through West Sea scenic area and North Sea scenic area to catch a glimpse of numerous famous wonders, like Flying-over Stone, Bright Summit and Beginning-to-believe Peak, and hike down the mountain from White Goose Ridge. Afterwards, tour Jadeite Valley before the flight to your next destination.

Overall, we had an excellent trip, and we would certainly recommend your company to others. We were met at each airport or coach station as expected, helped to check in to our hotels, and met again the next morning as organised. We found the scenery around the Guilin area and at Huangshan spectacular and were very happy we had included both these areas in our visit to China.

The hotels were all excellent. The Yangshuo Mountain Retreat was outstanding, both for its service and the setting. The Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is able to organise activities for English speaking tourists and we used them to arrange an evening watching comorant fishing which worked well.
