The hotels were most luxourious, particularly the Pan Pacific in Suzhou. The selection of food for breakfast in all the hotels was most appetizing and voluminous. Staff in all the hotels was friendly and helpful. The overall tour with the sites to see was most interesting. The guides were welcoming, informative and generally always available and flexible. Of particular note is Mary in Xian whose personality and perfect English were Astounding.
