3 Days Chengdu Leisure Tour

In the morning our guide will welcome you at the Chengdu Airport, and transfer you to local hotel. After lunch drive 1 hour to Sanxingdui Museum, where you will visit the exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from No1 and No2 sacrificial pits of Shang Dynasty (from 16th - 11th century B.C.). On the exhibition you could find housands of pieces of invaluable relics such as bronze ware, jade ware, gold ware, pottery, and bone ware. You will get a closed look at these relics to learn more about the ancient China. We'll spend 2 hours here.

After the tour, our driver will take you back to Chengdu and return to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. We recommend you to walk around the hotel. Or if you have enough strength, you may go to the distinctive Kuan-Zhai Lane to experience local people's night life. You can enjoy a cup of tea in a quaint tea house, try to play the Majiang with local people, taste delicious Sichuan snack, or buy some delicate souvenir for your friends. You will have a wonderful night.

Tonight you will stay at hotel in Chengdu.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide who will accompany you on your one day tour. And then, drive about 0.5 hour to one of the famous attractions in Chengdu - Panda Breeding and Research Center, which is home to giant pandas, red (or lesser) pandas, and other endangered species. The giant panda is more active in the early morning and in the late afternoon, so we usually arrange this visit in the early morning. But if it is in the peak tourist season, we will visit in the late afternoon. In the nursery you will see the highly successful breeding program, among the bamboo groves and shady walkways, and view the pandas at rest or play. There is a panda museum where you can learn more habit about giant pandas and get close touch with them. Here we specially prepare a programme of taking photoes with a panda for your option. You can hold a lovely panda to take photoes. How excited it is! (The admission for the programme is excluded.)

After lunch, you will take 1.5 hours to visit the Wuhou Memorial Temple, which is built as a tribute to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu during the Three Kingdoms Period. You may strool around the peaceful and attractive gardens, and visit several halls, including one dedicated to his memory and another to that of his emperor Liu Bei. Then you will learn more about China ancient culture.

Then you will feel relax to explore Jinli Old Street for local tea house, night life, art crafts and snacks. In the traditional atmosphere, you will enjoy the delicious Sichuan food and snacks and learn the local remarkable folk culture.

You will spend tonight at a comfortable hotel in Chengdu.

You will be driven to Chengdu Airport to catch the flight for your next destination. Wish you a nice journey!
