Day 1 Arrival in Jinan ( Lunch )

Today's Activities

Upon arrival in Jinan, you are picked up by local tour guide. Baotu Spring Park is you first stop of the city excursion. It houses Jinan’s most famous spring - Baotu Spring with the reputation of “the First Spring under Heaven”. Here you can appreciate the beautiful Chinese traditional gardens adorned with water, seals, wild birds, willow and stone display, etc.

Experience a wonderful water world with attractive landscapes in Wulongtan Park dotted with Wulongtan Spring (Five Dragons Spring). And throw yourself into the breathtaking views and historical and cultural atmosphere in Daming Lake, where you can choose to get a self-driven boat for a lazy ride to appreciate the park from a different perspective. Later take a stroll of Furong Ancient Street where you can have a taste of exotic food and snacks and get a feel for Jinan city.

Day 2 Jinan - Taian - Qufu ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Today's Activities

Set out from Jinan to Taian, where you are served a memorable exploration of Taishan Mountain, which feasts your eyes on breathtaking natural landscape and comforts you with amazing cultural wonders.

Ascend the mountain by cable car, and then enter South Heaven Gate formed by majestic traditional architectures mainly painted in red and yellow. Wander around the Heaven Street full of featured shops and residential buildings. Have a look at the miraculous stone inscriptions carved in the perpendicular cliff of Grand Viewing Peak. Climb atop Jade Emperor Peak, the highest point of Mount Taishan, to appreciate the spectacular panoramic views. After that, take the cable car down from the mountain. Drive to Qufu and stay overnight there.

Day 3 Qufu - Jinan ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Today's Activities

Start your morning tour at the most significant historical and cultural site San Kong (The Three Confucian) dedicated to commemorating the great Chinese philosopher - Confucius. It consists of Temple of Confucius, Cemetery of Confucius and Kong Family Mansion, where you can not only learn about the life story and great contribution of Confucius, but also appreciate a series of magnificent historical buildings and a variety of precious cultural relics. Afterwards, drive to Jinan city and spend your nightlife at leisure there.

Day 4 Jinan - Qingdao ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Today's Activities

After breakfast, drive to Qingdao, a charming coastal city of Shandong province. The first stop is Xiaoyushan Park (Little Fish Hill Park), a classical garden-style construction offering natural beauty, architectural techniques and artistic skills. Then head to Qingdao Beer Museum to catch a glimpse of the history of Qingdao beer with significant cultural value and advanced beer-making technology and process; you can also enjoy the pleasures of beer-tasting, shopping and recreations.

Continue on to crescent-shaped Zhan Bridge, one of the famous landmarks of Qingdao shooting into the extensive sea. Standing afar, you can enjoy beautiful seashore views at leisure. Stay overnight in Qingdao.

Day 5 Qingdao Departure ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Today's Activities

Morning start at May Fourth Square, recognized by the large "May Wind" sculpture, a popular tourist attraction named after the nationwide protest May Fourth Movement that started in Qingdao. End on a high note with an invigorating hiking upon Mount Laoshan to peek at the city from the summit, which is the highest coastal mountain with cultural significance which is regarded as one of the "cradles of Taoism". Later transfer to the airport for your next destination.

Shandong

Shandong food is one the Eight Culinary Traditions of China, ranked among the four most influential among these. Derived from the native cooking styles, Shandong food is divided into three sorts: Jinan cuisine, Jiaodong cuisine and Kongfu cuisine.
(1) Here we highly recommend Braised Intestines in Brown Sauce, one of the most famous traditional dishes of Jinan cuisine.
(2) Kongfu cuisine is an important part of Chinese food culture and gets well-preserved due to the significant status of Cemetery of Confucius in the ancient China. Kongfu Yipin Pot is one of the typical dishes of Kongfu cuisine.
