Upon arrival, welcome at airport and transfer to your hotel. Visit the vibrant Flower & Bird Market, the Central Square of old town quarter and Kunming's symbol building–Golden Horse & Green Phoenix Archway. |

| Day 2 Stone Forest (B,L,D) |
| A rare experience today is excursion to the World Geopark - Stone Forest. Then visit Sani Ethnic Village. |

3 Kunming to Dali (B,L) Transfer by car |
After breakfast, drive to Dali, the home to Bai minority. En route view the beautiful landscape of Yunnan plateau. After lunch, begin your sightseeing of Dali by visiting the famous Three Pagodas. Finally explore Dali Ancient Town with its lyrical"Foreigner Street". At night, have fun on the Foreigner Street. |

4 Dali to Lijiang (B,L) Transfer by car |
Morning cruise the Lake Erhai. Disembark and drive to Xizhou Village to explore Bai people's historic architecture. Taste also"Three courses of Tea" while enjoying folk dance performance. After lunch, traveling northwards to Lijiang. Free tiem in the Old Town of Lijiang. |

5 Lijiang (B,L) |
| Walking tour focusing on Lijiang Old Town and Mu Mansion. Afternoon visit Black Dragon Pool and learn about the Dongba religion & its distinctive pictographic characters at Dongba Cultural Research Institute. When dusk beckons, ascent Wangu Tower on Small Lion Hill for bird's eye views of the town in sunset. At night, have fun on the bar street nearby Sifang Square of the town. |

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town enjoys a long history of over 800 years and is probably the best-preserved old town in China with a deep background of multi-culture. |

6 Lijiang to Shangri-La (B,L,D) Transfer by car |
On the road to Shangri-La, view the First Bend of Yangtze River at Stone Drum Village, explore the Tiger Leaping Gorge, and admire the fascinating meadow scenery around lesser Zhongdian Tibetan area. |

7 Shangri-La (B,L) |
Greeted by the rays of sunrise, we're on the way to Songzanglin
Monastery, then we head for Gyalthang Ancient Town.
Afternoon enjoy an excursion to the wonderland Pudaco National
Park. Visits including Plateau Lake Shuodu, Alpine Meadow
Vegetation Nature Reserve, Rare Birds' Wetland Protected Area
and the fabulous Lake Bita. On the way back, explore a local
village and be a guest in a Tibetan family with a taste of Tibetan
specialities such as yak butter tea, yogurt & Tibetan barley. |
| Songzanlin Monastery: |
As one of the largest lamaseries in the Kangzang (tri-province area of Tibet, Sichuan, and Yunnan) region, they are both Tibetan-style watchtowers and are surrounded by eight sub-lamaseries and the dormitories or the lamas. |
| Gyalthang Ancient Town |
As an
interesting contrast to Potala Palace & Barkhor Bazaar in Lhasa, at
Shangri-la city, you can witness the authentic Tibetan culture in this remote area bordering the eastern part of Tibet Plateau. |
| Bita Lake: |
It is an emerald color all year round. The local Tibetans believe that it appeared when a fairy lady dropped her miracle mirror. In the novel "The Lost Horizon" James Hilton depicts it as a "Blue Lake", an essential part of "Shangri-La". |
| Shudu Lake: |
Around the lake, there are dense forests of fir spruce and birch. These are filled with wild animals such as musk deer, bears, leopards, golden cats, and pheasants etc. |
