Day 1 Arrival in Beijing: Pick up & Hotel Transfer, Free Time
Today's Activities Upon your arrival in Beijing, our local guide will meet you at the airport and guide you to the hotel for checking in. Rest at the hotel for getting rid of jetlag, or just hang around the nearby areas for a peek of the city.

Recommended: Wangfujing shopping area is one of Beijing's most featured shopping streets. All kinds of local artworks and snacks are surely a great treat for you.

Day 2 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Today's Activities Take a leisure walk into the grassroots' life - Hutongs, the local featured narrow alleys where traditional lifestyle is still well kept. A real touch with the local family is surely attractive. You will also learn and join making Chinese dumplings (Jiaozi) and enjoy a dumpling lunch!

In the afternoon, let's set our for a treasure hunting tour among countless historical treasures and curios in the Forbidden City. Once served as the Chinese imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Forbidden City is now the largest and best-preserved imperial palace in China, and houses the Palace Museum, Treasure House, Hall of Clocks and Watches and other exhibition halls.

Then move to Tian'anmen Square, one of the top landmarks of China and the largest city square in the world. If time suits, you may join the Chinese National Flag Lowering Ceremony at the square.

A great dinner treat for your savoring mouths - Peking Duck (Beijing Roasted Duck)! You must have heard of this famous delicacy, and now taste it! It's considered one of China's national dishes.

Day 3 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities After breakfast, take a refreshing excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall. As part of the world-renowned China Great Wall, Mutianyu has a storied history of over 1,400 years, and is the most gorgeous part of this ancient project. Cable car and slides are available for tourists' convenience when going uphill and downhill.

Temple of Heaven, an imperial sacrificial alter for heaven worship, is your next destination. If the weather permits, flying kites at the spacious square should be a lot of fun.

The evening features a fabulous Chinese Kung Fu Show at Red Theater (VIP Seats). Heat up your blood with this traditional Chinese martial art! You can even take photos with the performers after the show.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an (Breakfast) Transfer by Flight
Today's Activities Cheer up your day at the Beijing Zoo with the company of various species of animals, including the lovely giant pandas.

Later you will be escorted to the airport for a flight to Xi'an, another famous historical city of China.

Day 5 Xi'an (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Start a refreshing day at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and watching the local people doing their morning exercise in the vacant space. You may join them if you wish.

When you're talking about Xi'an, the first thing come across your mind should be the Terracotta Warriors! You won't miss this attraction during your tour. Explore the myth of this world's eighth wonder, as well as the Mausoleum of First Qin Emperor. You will also have a chance to DIY your own terracotta models! Unbelievable?

Day 6 Xi'an (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Hike up to the time-honored rampart Xi'an Ancient City Wall and feel the wind coming from the remote time. Hiring a bike and cycling on the rampart would be an interesting activity for you.

Then dive into the Muslim culture at the Great Mosque, which embraces both the Chinese and Muslim cultures. It's one of the largest and best-preserved early mosques in China. Also hanging around the Muslim Quarter is another way to experience the local Muslim life. Different local styled snacks and crafts shops are surely a great feast for you.

Also a visit to the Gao's Courtyard, a traditional Chinese dwelling in the Muslim Quarter that offers exhibitions of period furniture, paintings, photos and other artworks, as well as performances including an exquisite folk drama - Shadow Play. It's really amazing watching the puppet characters performing a folk drama on the little stage.

Day 7 Xi'an - Shanghai (Breakfast)
Today's Activities Today you will fly to Shanghai, an international metropolis in the eastern China. Upon your arrival, our local guide will pick you up and send you to the hotel. Have a good rest and prepare for the following activities next day.
Day 8 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Start your day among the brilliant artworks of Yuyuan Garden. This "Architecture Miracle in the South Region of Yangtze River" welcomes you with its representative design and style of Chinese classic gardens.

Move to explore the developing history and blueprint of the city at Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center. With the theme of "City, Citizens, Environment and Development", by professional exhibits and various interactive display means, the center offers you a wonderful experience of Shanghai's yesterday, today and tomorrow.

A visit to the Shanghai Children's Palace is also a great of fun. It's a center for children's extracurricular activities, including music, dance, art, model making, science, etc. The palace also hosts many performances and contests for children.

Next stop is the Shanghai World Financial Center, with a 474-meter-high sightseeing platform offering a stunning panorama of Shanghai. Can you feel the heartbeats of the city?

The evening is waiting for you with a fabulous Acrobatic Show! As one of the oldest performing arts in China, the acrobatics displayed on stage include a number of feats focusing on flexibility, strength, endurance and sheer will-power. Cheer up your bravos!

Xi’an

Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shaped Chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. Muslim Quarter gathers lots of delicious local food like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) Here we highly recommend Chinese Dumpling Dinner, which also named Jiaozi, typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. As a must-try for visitors, it serves with Tang dynasty show. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) Rou Jia Mo, also called Chinese Hamburger, is very similar to the Western hamburger essentially, but with different cooking method.
