2 Shanghai (B,L,D) |
On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai's past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai's classic garden. After that, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple. In the evening, you enjoy a wonderful Acrobatics Show. |
Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre: |
One of the world's largest showcases of urban development for Shanghai's past, present and future, with the highlight of an awesome vast scale model of urban Shanghai as it will look in 2020, a master plan full of endless skyscrapers punctuated occasionally by patches of green. |
Yuyuan Garden: |
Famed as an architectural miracle in the south of Yangtze River, it is the most celebrated classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, with a long history of more than four hundred years. |
Yuyuan Market: |
Built as a majestic temple in the 15th century; a well-known and busy market today, specializing in traditional arts and crafts and Shanghai local snacks that hard to find elsewhere. |
Jade Buddha Temple: |
An ancient temple with long history; imparting a peaceful and transcendent atmosphere; also renowned for two gorgeous white jade Buddhist statues. |
Shanghai Acrobatics Show: |
A magic touch for your nightlife! A typical art of China with long history. Exciting and breath-taking and you will be marveled at the varieties of programs. |
Day 3 Shanghai/Huangshan (B, L) |
After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After that, you will be escorted to the railway station for your next destination--Huangshan. Upon your arrival at city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. |
The Bund: |
Regarded as the symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of Shanghai's history; famous for various styles of magnificent buildings and a marvelous view for the landmarks of the city. |
Nanjing Road: |
The earliest and most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai dating back to the 1840s; offering all-in-one shopping centers, gorgeous restaurants and spectacular night views over this area. |

4 Huangshan (B,L) |
After breakfast, you will be driven 80 kilometers (1.5 hours) to Huangshan Mountain, where you will take the cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After checking into your hotel and lunch, you will visit the Brush Pen Peak, Lion Peak, and Xihai Grand Canyon. In the evening you will enjoy the sunset from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. Stay overnight at the summit. |
Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain): |
High mountains, ancient pines, bizarre rocks, and seas of clouds form the essential elements of traditional Chinese landscape paintings - all come alive at this celebrated mountain. |

5 Mt. Huangshan/Huangshan City (B,L) |
On this day, try to get up early in the morning to catch the Huangshan Mountain's magnificent sunrise. After breakfast, you will tour the Begin-to-Believe Peak, where you will see its ancient twisted pines. After all the exercise, you will take the cable car down the mountain where your driver will be waiting to take you back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and the Hu Kaiwen Inkstick Factory. |
Tunxi Ancient Street: |
It offers a unique window through which one can see the culture of Anhui as well as the beauty of Southern China. The city will enchant you and leave you nostalgically thinking about the past.

Hu Kaiwen Inkstick Factory: |
One of the most famous ink stone factories in China, where you can see the whole working process of making traditional Chinese inksticks: secret ingredients are added to the ink to keep its wonderful smell and color for centuries.

Day 6 Huangshan/Hangzhou (B, L) |
On this day you will be taken to Yixian County, (about 1-hour drive) from the city of Huangshan. You will visit the two ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi. After the tour, you will be escorted back to the city of Huangshan, where you will be transferred to the bus station for your public bus to Hangzhou. Upon your arrival at Hangzhou, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. |
Hongcun: |
Hongcun village is arranged by a Feng Shui master in the shape of an ox. It is characteristic of the beautiful, traditional Chinese landscape paintings and is always an inspiration for artists and film directors. |
Xidi: |
Xidi was listed along with Hongcun Village as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in the year 2000. These two ancient villages are the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province. |

7 Hangzhou (B, L) |
The city tour in this beautiful city will include cruising the West Lake by boat, and visit Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak, Dragon Well Tea Plantation and Six Harmonies Pagoda. |
West Lake: |
A lake area imparting Chinese elegance in its extreme, the West Lake is a common subject of Chinese paintings and poetries. It's famous for tranquility and different beauty due to the change of the seasons. |
Lingyin Temple: |
Literally "Temple of the Soul's Retreat", one of the most significant and beautiful Buddhist monasteries in China; features hundreds of magnificent rock carvings of Buddha. |
Feilai Peak: |
Feilai Peak, a mountain beside the Lingyin Temple, features more than 330 stone Buddha statues dated from hundreds years ago at the caves cutting over the cliff. |
Dragon Well Tea Plantation: |
It is a wonderful place to check out for yourself how the Dragon Well Tea (a famous green tea in China) is planted and processed to become an excellent Chinese tea. And you can enjoy the tea in the relaxing environment. |
Six Harmonies Pagoda: |
Overlooking the Qiantang River not far from the West Lake, it is an ancient pagoda with a history of nearly 1500 years, and is a true masterpiece of ancient Chinese architectures.

Day
8 Hangzhou/Suzhou (B, L) |
Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the railway station for your onward Express Train to Suzhou. Your tour in Suzhou includes the quiet Lingering Garden and the Panmen Gate. Enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise on the Grand Canal. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. |
Lingering Garden: |
Having surpassed thousands of its kind, it has now become one of the four most famous classic gardens in China, offering beauty and refreshment at every turn. |
Panmen Gate: |
Panmen Gate is best-preserved part of the ancient city wall (built in 514 B.C.) that surrounded and protected Suzhou. The gate complex includes both land gates and water gates. |
Grand Canal: |
The world's oldest and longest canal, far surpassing the next two grand canals: Suez and Panama Canal; paired with the Great Wall as the two great engineering feats of ancient China. |
No.1 Silk Factory: |
Suzhou is famous for its silk products. A visit to the factory would tell you how the silk is processed from silk worm to the final product, and some of the silk history of in China. |

9 Suzhou/zhouzhuang/Shanghai (B, L) |
In the morning, you will be driven to water town of Zhouzhuang (40 minutes). There you will visit the Ancient Memorial Archway, Quanfu Temple, Shen's Residence Hall, and the Twin Bridge. In the late afternoon, you will be driven back to Shanghai (one-hour). |
Zhouzhuang: |
Remarked by Marco Polo as "the Venice of the East", Zhouzhuang is noted for its elegant watery views, the well preserved ancient residential houses, and the local featured traditions and customs. |

10 Depart Shanghai
