Day 1   Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival in the Beijing airport pickup up by private English speaking guide and car driver to the hotel.

Day 2   Beijing   (B,L,D)

Your tour today will including the the city's historic sights of Tian'anmen Square, The Forbidden City, Summer Palace as well as the morden Olympic Stadium (Bird Nest), National Aquatics Center, and have the Special evening entertainments Peking Opera.

The Tian'anmen Square: As a symbol of the nation, this world's largest city square is home to various historical sites and known for the daily ritualistic flag raising ceremony.

The Forbidden City:

One of the world's most beautiful architectural complexes, served as China's imperial palace for almost five centuries; you will be overwhelmed by its massive scale and majestic design.

Olympic Stadium (Bird Nest):

The nest-shaped elliptic steel structure is hailed as "an icon of the Beijing 2008 Olympics" and has become a recognized landmark worldwide.

National Aquatics Center

(Water Cube) :

The outlook being a semi-transparent "cube", with "bubbles" spread out all over its surface; believed as the fastest Olympic pool in the world, swimmers set 25 new world records here during the 2008 Olympics.
Summer Palace: Used to be the imperial summer resort; ranked among the most noted and classical gardens of the world, it never fails to leave you a lasting impression.
Peking Opera: The national opera of China, featurs the dazzling costumes, mysterious facial makeup and exciting martial arts, presenting the audience with an encyclopedia of Chinese culture.

Day 3   Beijing (B,L,D)

Today you will be hiking along the most magnificent sections of the Great Wall at Badaling, and visit Sacred Way, Ming Tombs (Changling) and taste the famous Peking Roast Duck.

Great Wall at Badaling: The best-preserved and most imposing section of the Great wall; approximately 3,741m long and of great strategic importance in ancient times.
Sacred Way: The mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Di, the chief and the most magnificent one of the 13 Ming tombs, which will give you a glimpse into the power and grandeur of China's Ming Dynasty's Emperors.
Peking Roast Duck: Most famous and delicious dish in Beijing with a very long history, prized for its tempting color, crispy skin, tender meat and gorgeous apperance. Most visitors will want to have a try.

Day 4   Beijing to Chengdu (B,L)  Transfer by flight

Continue your city tour in Beijing, you will admire the beauty of the Temple of Heaven, and experience the Hutong neighborhood on a rickshaw tour, then transferred to airport for your flight to Chengdu.

Temple of Heaven:

This temple complex was ever a place for the emperor to worship heaven; an architectural wonder featuring the triple-roofed Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.

Hutong Tours in Rickshaw:

Leaving the bustling city streets, stepping into the maze-like hutongs and deep courtyards, you'll get a true taste of Beijinger's life and seem to travel back in time.


Day 5   Chengdu (B,L)

Today we will take a visit to the largest comprehensive museum in the province- Sanxingdui, Chengdu's oldest and largest temple- Wenshu Temple and Jinli Old Street.

Sanxingdui Museum: Due to its scope, the wealth of its contents, and the rarity and precious nature of its excavated objects, the site was declared a National Key Cultural Relics Protected Unit in 1988. 
Wenshu Temple : Wenshu Temple is arguably the most beautiful and well preserved temple in Chengdu. Worshippers light candles and incense, constantly filling the temple with a thick, perfumed smoke. 

Jinli Old Street :

 

Day 6   Chengdu to Lhasa (B) Transfer by Flight

Today we will take a visit to an attractions in chengdu, which will be the Giant Panda Breading Research Base, then transfer to the train station for your next station Lhasa. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high latitude.

Giant Panda Breading Research Base: Giant Panda featured Chengdu Giant Panda Center in southwest China as one of the best in the world.

Day 7  Lhasa (B,L)

Today, you will visit 3 most beautiful spots in Lhasa,The Potala Palace , The Barkhor Street , The Jokhang Temple

The Potala Palace:

Blend with Tibetan and Han architecture, it used to be Tibetan imperial palace. Built at an altitude of 3,700 m, it is the highest palace in the world.

The Barkhor Street:

Barkhor Street is a place full of religious atmosphere and a world of exotic articles. Believe your eyes, and you will get a lot of surprise there.

The Jokhang Temple:

Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims.


Day 8   Lhasa (B,L)

Continue your city tour in Lhasa, visit the Norbulingka and The Sera Monastery

Norbulingka:

Norbulingka both reflects the ethnical, religious features of the Tibetan people and embodies the architecture style of inland China.

The Sera Monastery:

As one of most important Monastery in Tibet, it often holds debate about Buddhism, which attracts many monks, celebrities all over the world.

 
Day 9   Lhasa to Shigatse via Gyantse (B,L) Transfer by bus
Your tour today will including the holy Yamdroktso Lake, Pelkor Chode Monastery & the Kumbum Stupa.
Yamdroktso Lake:

An area of tranquility and beauty; remains almost intact; one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, looks like a sapphire inlaid in the mountains in a bird's-eye view...

Pelkor Chode Monastery & the Kumbum Stupa:

Reputed as the lord of Tibetan stupas, the Monastery features a special structure that combines stupa and temple; and Kumbum Stupa is cherished as the symbol of the monastery.

 
Day 10   Shigatse to Lhasa Transfer by bus

Today we will visit the Ancient Tashilhunpo Monastery, drive back to Lhasa

Tashilunbo Monastery: Located on a hill in the center of the Shigatse, the full name in Tibetan of the monastery means: "all fortune and happiness gathered here" or "heap of glory".
 
Day 11   Lhasa to Xian (B) Transfer by Train (B,L)

After breakfast, transfer to the Train station for your next station Xian. Upon arrival in the Xian airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel.

 
Day 12  Xi'an (B,L)    

Begin your city tour in Xian, today we will visit one of the most significant archeological excavations  -Terracotta Warriors in the morning, then visit one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple -Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall in the afternoon.

Terracotta Warriors: As the eighth wonder of the ancient world, it has the history of more than 2200 years. Oriental mummies await you to discover its mystery.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Outstanding design in Chinese pavilion architecture history and containing many Buddhist relics that brought by Master Xuan Zang 1000 years ago.

Ancient City Wall:

It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

 
Day 13   Xian to Dunhuang (B,L) Transfer by flight

Transfer to airport for your flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrive in Dunhuang, be met and transferred to the hotel.

 
Day 14   Dunghuang to Turpan (B,L) Transfer by Train
Today you will visit the most famous monument of Mogao Grottos, Afterward drive about 5km to visit the famous Crescent Moon Spring & Mingsha Mountain. Transfer by overnight train to Turpan (about 10hours).
Mogao Grottos:

IA most celebrated rock grotto in China. Carved in the 3rd century, it is also the largest, best preserved and richest treasure house of Buddhist art in the world.

Mingshan Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring:

The spring at the north of the mountain; an impressive oasis landscape with a crystal clear spring in crescent shape and an interesting mountain echoing the roaring sound of wind.

 
Day 15   Turpan (B,L)

Today's tour includes visits to the Grape Valley, Flaming Mountain , Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves.

Grape Valley:

A vast land covered with layer upon layer of grapes to form a green paradise; a tranquil oasis in desert underneath blue skies in the day and a milky way at night.

Flaming Mountain:

In novel, the battlefield where "Monkey King" fights evil monsters; in reality, a mountain seems on fire in strong sunlight, perhaps as red as the Ayers Rock of Australia.

Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves:

A collection of retreats once inhabited by Buddhist monks dating back to 9th centuries; famous relics for frescos portraying Buddhist theme and gorgeous Silk Road culture.

 
Day 16   Turpan to Kashgar via Urumqi (B,L) Transfer by bus, then by flight

After breakfast, drive back to Urmuqi to transfer to your next station Kashgar. Upon arrive in Kashgar, be met and transferred to the hotel.

 
Day 17   Kashgar (B,L)

No visitors to Kashigar should miss, Kashgar Sunday Market(Dabazha) in the Old Town of Kashqar .and the tour guide also will bring you to visit the Kah Mosque and Abakh Hoja Tomb in the country lanes.

Kashgar Sunday Market (Dabazha):

The most lively picture of the local life and intoxicating culture; a market like one of the thousand and one nights of the Arabian Tales; may seem noisy, crowded and confusing, but the finest goods can also be found.

Eid Kah Mosque:

First built in 1442, a stark contrast to the many Chinese-style mosques, and much associated with mosques in Pakistan or Afghanistan; the largest mosque in China, attracts as many as 10,000 worshippers on prayers days...

Abakh Hoja Tomb:

The most magnificent tomb in Kashgar; a well-preserved Islamic architectural complex; served as the family tomb of Abakh Hoja, a powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century.

 
Day 18   Kashgar to Karakul Lake (B,L,D)

Drive about 3 hours to visit the amazing Karakul Lake. The drive up was amazing.  Visit the crazy rocky mountains, to huge ice and snow covered peaks today. Later today Drive back and stay at Kashgar.

Karakul Lake :

The lake is popular among travellers for its unreal scenery and the clarity of its reflection in the water, whose color ranges from a dark green to azure and light blue.

 
Day 19   Kashgar to Urumqi (B) Transfer by flight

After breakfast transfer to Airport for your flight back to Urumqi. Upon arrive at the airport, picked up by our English speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day will be on your own arrangement to explore the city.

 
Day 20   Urumqi (B,L)

Today we will visit Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill—the symbol of Urumqi and International Grand Bazaar.

Xinjiang Museum

Built in a modern style enhanced by local architectural features; one can view the entire city of Urumchi from its central dome of 30 meters high; famous for its rich collections of silk artifacts from many periods of history.

International Grand Bazaar:

An essential place to experience the life of the minority region, offering all kinds of ethnic food and souvenirs; dinner show is a highlights, a cast of 300 singers and dancers from Uygur, Kazak, Turkoman and Han people.

Red Hill:

A symbol of Urumqi, owing to its uniqueness-the body of the mountain, made up of aubergine rock, has a reddish brown color, hence the name; featuring a spectacular part of the Urumqi landscape.

 
Day 21  Urumqi to Shanghai (B,L) Transfer by flight

After our visiting to the holy Heavenly Lake, we will fly we will transfer to airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in the Xian airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel.

Heavenly Lake:

Nestling high in the magnificent Tianshan Mountains; on clear days, the snow-capped peaks glistens in the sun and finely contrasts with blue lake water and steep forested hills.

 
Day 22   Shanghai (B,L)

Today you will visit the Yu Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, take a walk on the Nanjing Road and the Bund, that is the most busy business area in shanghai, in the evenning, watch the famous Shanghai Acrobats Show.

Yu Garden:

The most celebrated classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, with a long history of more than four hundred years; famed as "an architectural miracle in the south of Yangtze River".

Oriental Pearl TV Tower:

Landmark of Shanghai and the tallest completed tower in Asia; Applys Chinese elements in design, and features a breathtaking bird's eye view on the tower.

Nanjing Road:

The earliest and most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai dating back to the 1840s; offering all-in-one shopping centers, gorgeous restaurants and spectacular night views over this area.

The Bund:

Regarded as the symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of Shanghai's history; famous for various styles of magnificent buildings and a marvelous view for the landmarks of the city.
