After your breakfast, we will drive to Jiayuguan and visit Qiaowan Acient City and Qiaowan Museum on the way. The Jiayuguan region formed China's western boundary during the Ming Dynasty period. The desert landscape in this area is incredible with snow-capped mountain peaks visible in the distance. |

Built during the Qing Dynasty as a military fortress; just ruins remains nowadays; the whole city featuring a dim yellow color just like that of the desert, another loss of civilization of an oasis in desert...Tourists may have a break on the way from Dunhuang to Jiayuguan Pass, visiting the ancient town while sampling watermelon. |

A whole day tour around Jiayuguan, visiting the Tombs of Jin and Wei Dynasties, as well as remote remnants of the Great Wall, including the ancient frontier Jiayuguan Pass and Overhanging Great Wall.
