Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai - Free time

Today's Activities

After airport/ railway station pick-up and hotel transfer, you’ll have the rest of the day as your free time. Collect your enthusiasm for the colorful Shanghai nightlife. We recommend Shanghai Acrobatic show as your add-on activity. As one of the oldest performing arts in China, the acrobatics displayed on stage include a number of feats focusing on flexibility, strength, endurance and sheer will-power. Cheer up your bravos! Or you can simply visit Xintiandi Bar Street to feel the vibrant night color in Shanghai and romantic tone that prevails the whole street.

Day 2 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Today let’s tour from the traditional to the modern. In Yuyuan Garden, you would find elegance in those sophisticatedly arranged pavilions, lotus ponds and winding corridors show grace and wit of the creators. Don’t miss the two highlights, Mid-Lake Pavilion and the nearby Zigzag Bridge. About 1.5 hours later, let’s move to the neighboring Yuyuan Market to explore the here-and-there traditional Chinese art works and crafts. Then stroll along the 1,599-meter-long Nanjing Road (East), you will be dazzled by numerous shops where varicolored clothes, ornaments, and other shopping stuff are on display.

Withdrawing from the shopping aspect, let's turn to The Bund and Shanghai World Financial Center and take an overlook of this big city. The Bund offers you a long array of magnificent buildings in different architectural styles: Gothic, Baroque, Rome, Renaissance, Classic and Mixed Eastern and Western style...Here you can not only embraces an epitomized old Shanghai, but also take in the booming view of the new Shanghai on the other side across the River. There is where Shanghai World Financial Center stands. You will enjoy the stunning panorama of Shanghai city standing at the 100th –floor sightseeing platform(474-meter-high).

Day 3 Shanghai - Xitang Water Town - Shanghai(Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Let’s set out for the amazing Xitang Water Town tour today! If you’re a fan of the hit movie Mission Impossible III, You’ll with great surprise and joy find out a series of scenes that turned up in the movie—Xiyuan Garden, Shipi Lane, Yanyu Corridor, etc. Besides, two local museums are recommended, Zhang Zhenggen Carving Museum, China Button Museum. Make full use of the 1.5-hour tour at the adorable water town and drive back to downtown Shanghai in the afternoon.

In Shanghai we have Matthew (Mr Fan) as tour guide and he is also a great tour guide! He looks after us and making sure we are not conned by the taxis and also other things to look out for. He makes sure the driver drives safely and also not to talk on the mobile phone while driving. Many minor things are well taken care by Matthew. It seems minor but it means a lot to us!
