Ocean Park - Exploration

Ocean Park Hong Kong is divided into two sections, Waterfront and Summit by Nam Long Shan (Brick Hill), connected by a 1.8km cable car system and a 1.3km themed funicular railway, Ocean Express.

Waterfront

>> AMAZING ASIAN ANIMALS houses two young Pandas, two golden monkeys (newly exhibit), four Red Pandas, Chinese giant salamanders, Chinese alligators, otters, goldfish, birds and turtles, some of which are Asia's most precious animals. PANDA CAF, a Panda-themed cafe with Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese and Sichuan specialties, and ample outdoor seating is available here.
>> AQUA CITY is a new zone and its flagship attraction is The Grand Aquarium which contains over 5000 fish of 400 species and 5.2 million litres of water. You can enjoy unobstructed views of its main tank in NEPTUNES RESTAURANT and nearby AQUA CITY BAKERY serves gourmet coffees and delicious light meals in an immersive undersea environment.

>> AMAZING BIRD THEATRE is a South American themed garden with colourful exotic birds including Macaws, Eagle Owl, Steppes Eagle, Cranes and other exotic birds.
>> OLD HONG KONG, newly opened in 2012, is a nostalgic re-creation of a Hong Kong street scene from the 1950's to 1970's where the street is lined with dai pai dong food stalls offering over 70 types of classic hawker food and performers play the roles of period characters.
>> WHISKERS HARBOUR is a dreamland for kids with playgrounds, bounce houses, a creative corner, and interactive games to keep them busy and happy all day.

Summit

Summit can be reached either by cable car from Waterfront or Ocean Express funicular railway.

>> MARINE LAND includes Sea Jelly Spectacular, a jellyfish exhibit with music, lighting and multimedia special effects, Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium - Yangtze Exploration which features ten Chinese sturgeon aged from 2 to 10 in a simulated Yangtze River environment, and Garden of Joy, a picturesque landscaped Japanese garden with streams, bridges, greenery and koi fish. THE BAYVIEW RESTAURANT serving a delectable selection of international cuisine, TERRACE CAF and CAFE OCEAN are around this attraction and Indian dishes are available.
>> ADVENTURE LAND includes Mine Train, a rollercoaster ride reaching a height of 85 metres, Space Wheel orbiting vertical wheel gondola ride and Raging River boat ride.
>> THRILL MOUNTAIN is an expansive zone of mechanical ride that takes heart-pounding entertainment to new heights offering guests a panorama that stretches from a verdant hilltop to the vast South China Sea.

Red Panda Is Thinking	Enjoy Shows at Ocean Theatre

>> THE RAINFOREST is a themed zone home to over 1000 mammals, fish, birds and insects of over 70 species including the world's smallest monkey, largest toucan and strongest beetles. The Rainforest also features a raft ride which courses its way along a river whilst other visitors take aim at the rafts with water guns.
>> Cable Car is a great way to travel between the Waterfront and Summit and it provides unprecedented views of the surrounding area, the sea, and the entire park.
>> OCEAN EXPRESS is a 1.3km funicular railway through a tunnel linking Lowland area of the park with the Summit area. The train is designed to resemble a submersible vehicle and the three minute ride simulates a journey through the depths of the ocean.

Attraction to be opened later in this year is Polar Adventure where you can experience the North Pole and South Pole while meeting the animal ambassadors from these wintry wonderlands.
