 Daily Itinerary
Day 1    Arrive in Shanghai
Upon your arrival, our English-speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and escort you to the hotel. Free time for the rest of the day on your own leisure.

Day 2  Shanghai    (B, L)

Visit the classic garden of Shanghai, the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. Later, marvel at the bird's eye view of the city at the Oriental Pearl Tower, and visit the Shanghai Municipal History Museum at the tower's pedestal.

Yuyuan Garden: Reputed as "an architectural miracle", this classical Chinese garden boasts a four hundred year history and is celebrated as the very best that Shanghai has to offer.
Oriental Pearl Tower: A landmark of Shanghai and the tallest completed tower in Asia, it implements Chinese elements in its design and features a breathtaking bird's eye view of the city.
Shanghai Municipal History Museum: It is a museum on the development of shanghai over the past century which fully displays a profound change happened in every aspects of shanghai.

Day 3   Shanghai / Hangzhou transfer by train   (B, L)
Stroll along the Bund, the symbol of bustling Shanghai, and then Nanjing Road, the well-known shopping area in Shanghai. Transfer to the train station for Hangzhou.
The Bund: Regarded as the symbol of Shanghai and offering a snapshot view of Shanghai's history, the area is famous for its variety of styles, magnificent buildings, and historical landmarks.
Nanjing Road: This earliest and most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai dates back to the 1840s and offers all-in-one shopping centers, tasty restaurants, and spectacular night views.

Day 4   Hangzhou    (B, L)
The West Lake of Hangzhou is a best-known lake throughout China. A cruise on the lake makes a perfect chance to take in the beauty of it. Then a visit to a well-known Buddha temple in China, the Lingyin Temple, to immerse your heart and soul in the transcendent atmosphere. Visit the Tea Plantation to see how Chinese tea is produced. And in the evening, you will visit the Hefang Street and get an insight of the mysterious Chinese medicine in the Huqingyuatang Chinese Medicine Museum.
West Lake: The lake imparts a certain charm and elegance, always there, but ever changing with the shift in seasons. Its beauty and tranquility makes it a favorite for tourists from near and far.
Lingyin Temple: Literally "Temple of the Soul's Retreat", this is one of the most significant and beautiful Buddhist monasteries in China and features hundreds of magnificent rock carvings of Buddha.
Tea Plantation: It is a wonderful place to check out for oneself how Chinese tea is planted and processed to become excellent tea. And you can enjoy the tea in the relaxing environment.
Hefang Street: Hefang Street is a very special street different from others by showcasing a variety of Chinese crafts. It is charmingly lively with art hawkers, candy sculptors, pillow shops, caricaturists, old-fashioned movie players, storytellers, bonsai shops, teahouses, and an array of small eateries.
Huqingyuatang Chinese Medicine Museum: The museum is inside the ancient building complex of Huqingyutang Drugstore, which has long been honored as "the Medicine House of the South of the Yangtze River".
