Join our group to discover China! This 8 days' itinerary will lead you to three major tourism destinations in China - Beijing, Xi'an and Guilin, packing a good number of "must-sees" together. From the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace of Beijing, to the Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Xi'an, and to the naturally amazing Li River and Longji Rice Terrace of Guilin, all will leave you an everlasting impression.

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing: Pick-up & Hotel Transfer, Free Day
Today's Activities Landing on Capital of China Beijing with all your expectations. Our local guide will pick you up by private car and escort you to the hotel for checking in. You can either take a rest at the hotel or have a quick peek of the city by hanging around the nearby areas.
Day 2 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities After breakfast, start your bus tour with Tian'anmen Square, which is the emblem of the country and the biggest city square in the world.

Then move to the Forbidden City for a 2-hour visit, and immerse yourself among the beautiful imperial buildings to explore the history.

Spend about 1 hour for the visiting of the Temple of Heaven, a sacrificial alter where annual heaven worship for good harvest was presented during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Its architectural layout represents the harmony between Heaven and Earth, between the heavenly and the earthly.

After lunch and a short visit to a pearl free market, take our last stop for today - the Summer Palace, an elegant classical garden once serving as the summer getaway for the royal family. Get refreshed with the beautiful sceneries!

Day 3 Beijing - Xi'an (Breakfast, Lunch) Transfer by Train
Today's Activities Between 7:00am and 8:30am, our local guide will pick you up after you have your breakfast. Then our bus will drive to Changling, the most famous of the 13 Ming Tombs. It's the largest in scale and is completely preserved, inhumed the fourth emperor of the Ming Dynasty.

The Great Wall is surely not to be missed during your China tour. So after lunch, spend about 2 hours to the Badaling Great Wall, the most popular section of the whole project. Have a hike along the stone rampart and awe at the grandeur of this ancient wonder. Please remember to wear a pair of good shoes for the walking.

On your way back to the hotel, you can have a short stop for appreciating the building design of main Olympics' Venues - Bird's Nest and Water Cube, as well as enjoying the Chinese Traditional Silk Arts.

Later you will be taken by private car to the train station for the night train (soft berth) to Xi'an, which will take about 12hrs. (Reference Schedule: 19:50-07:50 next day)

Day 4 Xi'an (Lunch)
Today's Activities Upon your arrival at Xi'an city, our local guide will meet you at the train station and take you to the hotel for checking in. After a short rest, set out our bus tour for a visit to the Xi'an Banpo Museum, the first museum at the prehistorical site. It was built at the base of the excavations of the Banpo site, a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture dating back about 6,000 years.

Our next visit - the Terracotta Warriors is surely a must-see of the city. As the eighth wonder of the ancient world, these over 2,200-year-old ancient arm forces await you to discover its mystery. Together is the Mausoleum of the First Qin Dynasty, King of these underground troops.

Day 5 Xi'an - Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch) Transfer by Flight
Today's Activities After breakfast, let's visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built in the year of 652 A.D.

Then relax your time at the 600-year-old Ancient City Wall. This time-honored rampart is an emblem of this ancient capital city and one of the largest well-preserved ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Take your way towards the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. They are the largest and best-preserved of this kind in China. Both of them are used as timer for the city, with Bell Tower rings the dawn and the Drum Tower strikes the dust.

Later you'll be escorted by private car to the airport for the flight to Guilin, which takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Our Guilin local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Have a good rest and prepare for your Guilin tour!

Day 6 Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Prepare your good walking shoes today! Pick up from the hotel at 9:00am and drive about 2 hours to Longsheng County. Take a 40-minute walk to the top of the mountain and visit the Longji (literally Dragon's Backbone in Chinese) Rice Terrace, which is reputed as "The Champion of the Terrace World." An overlook of the terrace is really a fantastic experience.

Lunch will be a Chinese one at a local restaurant on the mountain. Later of the day, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

(Note: If you cannot afford a long walk, you can choose an optional vehicle - sedan chairs, which are carried by local villagers along mountain roads. Extra cost is about US$20 round trip - up and down the mountain.)

Day 7 Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today's Activities Guilin is best known for its serene natural beauty, and a cruise on the Li River is definitely a great way to take in most of the gorgeous.

Around 8:00am, our bus will pick you up from the hotel and drive about 40min to the Zhujiang Dock, where you will start your Li River cruise tour. (Cruise ship departs at 9:30am.) Let free your soul among the mountains and waters and local villages, just feeling the tranquility, the freshness, and the joy. Lunch will be onboard and accompanied by these beautiful sceneries.

After arriving at Yangshuo county at about 14:30pm, you are free to hang around the nicknamed "Foreigners' Street" - West Street. Whether sipping a glass of beer at the local bar, or diving into the treasure-like local shops, there's always a lot of fun and delight in this featured street.

Our bus leaves Yangshuo at 15:30pm, taking you back to your downtown hotel. Or if you prefer to stay overnight in Yangshuo, please tell our trip advisor in advance.

Xi’an

Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shaped Chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. Muslim Quarter gathers lots of delicious local food like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) Here we highly recommend Chinese Dumpling Dinner, which also named Jiaozi, typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. As a must-try for visitors, it serves with Tang dynasty show. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) Rou Jia Mo, also called Chinese Hamburger, is very similar to the Western hamburger essentially, but with different cooking method.

Guilin / Yangshuo

Guilin's tasty dishes are also well-known except its charming landscapes. Traditional cuisines include Duck Stewed with Ginkgo Seeds, Lipu Taro Pork, Stewed Clams and Chicken, Lohan Boiled Chicked, and Fried Chicken with Water Chestnut. An abundance of special snacks are also offered throughout the city, like the famous Guilin Rice Noodles.
